My first walker for Dust Tactics. There will be more for sure. This was a wonderful piece to paint for several reasons:
1, it comes assembled and primed right out of the box
2, it's an incredibly cool-looking model
3, even though it's pre-assembled, it can be taken apart ( the body comes off the legs and the weapons are interchangeable) for easy access during painting and basing.

Next up is the other walker that came in the Dust Tactics Revised set, the Blackhawk.
Oh, and I should perhaps add that the text on the side is the battle cry of the Panzergrenadiere:

„Dran! Drauf! Drüber!“ bedeutet sinngemäß „Ran an den Feind, drauf auf den Feind, hinweg über den Feind“.

i e towards the enemy, into the enemy position and through the enemy. (better translations gratefully accepted, my school German is 25 years old and a lot rustier than Hans).

Dust Tactics Panzeraufklärungslaufer I-C

Or Hans to his friends.
Hans is not finished (he has no weapons, for one thing), this is just a teaser pic to get Laffe to take the plunge into Dust.

Revell LRDG Jeep

First British (Commonwealth actually, lots of folks from distant shores in the LRDG) vehicle for our LRDG project.

The vehicle is from the old Matchbox kit re-released by Revell and it reminded me that I don't really enjoy building plastic kits, at least not in Braille Scale. I am simply too old and ham-fisted for that kind of work. In future, I'll get some nice resin versions with very few parts.

Shelfville-the humble beginning

My plan for the year is to create a American Civil War terrain board in 6mm that will fit on a shelf in a book case and then play solo games of Terrible Sharp Sword from TooFatLardies on it. So far, I have four Union and one Confederate plus a barn for them to fight over. All bought from Baccus6mm although I believe the barn is actually produced by Time Cast for Baccus.
