These figures are the very last of the minis included in the The Walking Dead Kickstarter from Mantic Games. There was some terrain and cars too, those are not done.</div>

Today the zombies are actually outnumbered by the survivors for once. As usual, they are all from Mantics The Walking Dead game. Lovely minis that are a joy to paint.<br />
They are standing on a <a href="https://shop.battlesystems.co.uk/city-block-game-mat-68-p.asp" target="_blank">City Block</a> mat from the fine folks at Battle Systems.<br />

I have a bunch of survivors coming up next and after that perhaps some other minis for variation,Thomas Nissvikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11635793244352536541noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1932881472640239585.post-46712857670537974592019-07-30T14:32:00.001+02:002019-07-30T14:32:18.159+02:00Long time, no post<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My painting mojo has returned somewhat thanks to the new Contrast paints from Games Workshop. They really are as good as GW would have you think, or almost. Suddenly, decent results can be achieved in a short time with little concentration. The ten zombies below took three episodes of Stranger Things to complete, with time over for eating a burger and some ice cream.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are a good painter, they are a useful tool in you toolbox for creating spectacular minis. If you just want to put a horde of something on the table before you die of old age, they are a god-send.</div>

I have built the first of the two titans in the core box and sprayed it with AP Gun Metal as I want the mechanical parts and everything I can't reach with a brush to at least look metallic. Next up is washing and painting the body before I start adding the various shields that cover most of the body of the finished titan. I also need to think about the base. The titan is just blu-tacked on right now and I want a basing that conveys the weight of this monster. Maybe a layer of clay, press the feet down into that, let it dry then flock and decorate?<br />
Note that the entire project has been doen using <a href="https://alphaspel.se/226-lim-vatskor/86384-tamiya-extra-thin-cement" target="_blank">Tamiya liquid cement</a> meaning there was no filler or greenstuff used at all. GW has come a long way since the old "fill the gap with greenstuff until you can get the super glue to catch"-days.<br />
<br />
Next to the titan is the first Knight. Also lots of fun to build and I really llok forward to painting three of them as a unit. The AT box was the most expensive hobby item I have bought in my life but I feel that I am getting value for my money.<br />

Well, I do have an excuse. My intestines started acting up again (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crohn%27s_disease" target="_blank">Crohn's disease</a> for those of you keeping score) and I basically lost the ability to eat solids. Loss of weight, energy and motivation followed by major surgery and recovery that is still ongoing.<br />
<br />
All this time was not wasted, however. I have been doing some painting that will be revealed later. I have also been doing a bit of gaming. The new hotness at the Club is <a href="https://toofatlardies.co.uk/product/what-a-tanker-rules-tokens-bundle/" target="_blank">What A Tanker</a> from TooFatLardies. Best fun we've had in ages, it's even kicked Zombicide off the top position.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtOy2jZaDFwrl6gzmyG5OctkrHmdqRv8yjpXMzQvVwt58mKFPAeAtPcQBefqz8Wp8i8JJWJkNY4KgSlU7qIoNSRKSHCDeNKQfTUNQI4QKrem4i1QH4p1fLZwSXqBIciB7qdJic9ht9YQo/s1600/2018-06-05+19.02.32.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtOy2jZaDFwrl6gzmyG5OctkrHmdqRv8yjpXMzQvVwt58mKFPAeAtPcQBefqz8Wp8i8JJWJkNY4KgSlU7qIoNSRKSHCDeNKQfTUNQI4QKrem4i1QH4p1fLZwSXqBIciB7qdJic9ht9YQo/s320/2018-06-05+19.02.32.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
Based on the one game we've had so far, Zombicide will be reclaiming it's position during the winter. Green Horde really is a whole different game using the old familiar mechanics.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnFlJh6Wkso-vdaNAODALV_yZ1lIaXo_soLz-ioe4sqnmaXK9DoQT7mV15z89fn521SsN7JC-PfXRQN7a5s2DPnEVGp05FEFIF1w4rfjeLItsWE_jpD73Z5ZG4UY0VHyXaSU15rTvzimo/s1600/2018-06-18+23.15.21.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnFlJh6Wkso-vdaNAODALV_yZ1lIaXo_soLz-ioe4sqnmaXK9DoQT7mV15z89fn521SsN7JC-PfXRQN7a5s2DPnEVGp05FEFIF1w4rfjeLItsWE_jpD73Z5ZG4UY0VHyXaSU15rTvzimo/s320/2018-06-18+23.15.21.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
All was not bad. Recovery from the surgery started during the most lovely spring I have ever seen and orders from the doctor were "Eat as much as you can and move as much as you're able"<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6sNj9js2oELAw7wH35t5c3g3MLHah6wZJiVTkPpAInUok_b0SnL9TCOdCq2QMX1GmtmRLCUR0kizlC3sYJwQ8dxrhZsENdoyUwZ-06WTlEFIeiVz_E4NPHWXlVMkOWOahS_MksXxINCU/s1600/2018-06-11+15.47.12.jpg" imageanchor="1"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjepDUdgBvUXH0BtanYV0ezfTZcCqaHG8H85bpS5ce6X284diQBLIRcZ9wquoTf-b_vgpPk7b1_8bdVvoDgQjAWbbjdJKwKYJp-f0BC1yCR2TiXP-RWoX8gm4PSIlh5f9lgeYF5Xj-szyA/s1600/2018-06-09+15.00.52.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjepDUdgBvUXH0BtanYV0ezfTZcCqaHG8H85bpS5ce6X284diQBLIRcZ9wquoTf-b_vgpPk7b1_8bdVvoDgQjAWbbjdJKwKYJp-f0BC1yCR2TiXP-RWoX8gm4PSIlh5f9lgeYF5Xj-szyA/s320/2018-06-09+15.00.52.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
So I did.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixxcLpkZxHcrDx2sXfM4o9AKyXQDHIcQuoHlrai0pjTRJYQgfv958XgsCXWA579BA1a1puPNam9dXlPJPsHGbEtp6VrHpB55iNdDPrBMZXm15r4yaiB4_Qa8m5q2YYYe6oAnTUbICeNKA/s1600/2018-06-22+10.53.12.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixxcLpkZxHcrDx2sXfM4o9AKyXQDHIcQuoHlrai0pjTRJYQgfv958XgsCXWA579BA1a1puPNam9dXlPJPsHGbEtp6VrHpB55iNdDPrBMZXm15r4yaiB4_Qa8m5q2YYYe6oAnTUbICeNKA/s320/2018-06-22+10.53.12.jpg" width="240" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
After my second game of WaT I knew this was the game I had been waiting for, the one that would allow me to play Girls Und Panzer on the table top. Of course I needed tanks that look the part...<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
And finally, two clips of local wild life, captured during long walks on warm summer nights.<br />

Trying out blogging by app.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
Edit:Yep, it worked. I can take a picure with my phone and put it straight onto the blog without fiddling around on the computer. Does not look as nice but I can get it up there right away instead of "later" which never happens, as seen by my posting history. I have in fact painted minis between June and now, I have just not gotten down to taking pics, editing pics, writing blog post and so on. Hopefully, this will not be repeated in 2018.</div>

This badly:<br />
<br />
Part 3 in the story of Annie the Dicebag Lady in the land of the Random Internet Vikings.<br />
<br />
After a night on an island and a game at the club, Annie was handed over to me for coffee and hammocking. We took the train to Nynäshamn and the first thing Annie noticed was the fact that there are rude words on the kitchen curtains. That set the tone of the visit.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQWwv4geOPZ8lMEnZjnPvwpC61oW65V_Xa8Vrkr8xA43wzHpbSCn3J7mJx2Yz3IEKC4bxurk7mpIz-pulm9-I6boNJuCpU9T28o35MSQOdOPmfELWbSQqIMQS2y2ojJyJ2n92Gj-TjrjI/s1600/Dirty+Curtain.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="900" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQWwv4geOPZ8lMEnZjnPvwpC61oW65V_Xa8Vrkr8xA43wzHpbSCn3J7mJx2Yz3IEKC4bxurk7mpIz-pulm9-I6boNJuCpU9T28o35MSQOdOPmfELWbSQqIMQS2y2ojJyJ2n92Gj-TjrjI/s320/Dirty+Curtain.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
I had promised Annie coffee over an open fire out in the archipelago. Sadly, four weeks of no rain meant that the woods were so dry it would actually be illegal, not just irresponsible, to start a fire so we had to make do with a camping kitchen. The coffee was at least boiled in a proper pot and served in a wooden kåsa.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdvHdoz5G0OBPa972tRQ1lhUhWEnG-QH3ItKSNoM4utUU49R705qT0rkw-CHG8Lkf6ovRg46X4PM46SxeRqHuoEyiywULsDmlydzt9WEpeAiyEaGVe2ezv72IHGmh-mucq0X6tQ5meabw/s1600/Annie+coffee.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="900" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdvHdoz5G0OBPa972tRQ1lhUhWEnG-QH3ItKSNoM4utUU49R705qT0rkw-CHG8Lkf6ovRg46X4PM46SxeRqHuoEyiywULsDmlydzt9WEpeAiyEaGVe2ezv72IHGmh-mucq0X6tQ5meabw/s320/Annie+coffee.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
That night, we went out into the woods and set up camp with hammocks and tarps.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_HHaNzUjOasIgKPbb7n-GS5TZpHXXDiXDua3qFISotJ5Gsc-tSwYFfI9UANYasocv47LJLib85WAmL2Inrx75YsqG581olW7S9t74ItJvCUJof6ehRPec-jxcGP860otFcIjPHLUMNe4/s1600/Annie+in+camp.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_HHaNzUjOasIgKPbb7n-GS5TZpHXXDiXDua3qFISotJ5Gsc-tSwYFfI9UANYasocv47LJLib85WAmL2Inrx75YsqG581olW7S9t74ItJvCUJof6ehRPec-jxcGP860otFcIjPHLUMNe4/s320/Annie+in+camp.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Yes, it looks like the pot is hanging over the fire but I promise, we did not break the law.<br />

While we were camping my better half, who had a cold and could not come, had been asked to keep Baggy away from the dolls as I thought nothing good could come of them getting together. I was right as these pictures of Having Tea And Plotting World Domination will clearly show.<br />

Yesterday, I played the tutorial scenario from The Walking Dead. It is a solo scenario using a reduced set of rules and only one quarter of the standard game mat just to get a feel for the order of events and how the basics of the game work. It was great fun and I look forward to playing more this weekend and with some luck bringing the game down the club next week.</div>

I also finished (well his gun needs to be darkened) Luke from Imperial Assault. I am kind of happy with the survivors, not at all happy with Luke but he has been on the paint desk for a year, it was time to finish him, good or bad.<br />

As they are supposed to, well, Survive and hopefully even evolve over the course of a multi-game campaign I will spend some more time and effort on them, i e highlights and such. A few of the Survivors come with Zombie versions of themselves.<br />
First out are Shane and Patrick.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You can't really tell but the old guy on the right is wearing slippers. Lovely figures that will certainly reward a proper paint-job but since I have dozens of zombies to do, block-amd-wash will have to do.<br />

Shameful. But I have not been completely idle. I have painted some stuff for the French Indo-China project.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
First up, more of the Red Star (now FNG) French Paratroopers. Fantastic sculpts by Paul Hicks<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1_qVJpab0TkEUAoasbHeTe8U9PPkJb981-BdJdLGPQj_9NhxEP4MNnAoURNFVfHzzDTNYuv8W5yQf6izz5iJEFFjVfe2vHa91sWy62WgZAySFUkq4wSu6WQE3kUkqpoF6xD9s0CfPQSw/s1600/RubiconM5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="246" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1_qVJpab0TkEUAoasbHeTe8U9PPkJb981-BdJdLGPQj_9NhxEP4MNnAoURNFVfHzzDTNYuv8W5yQf6izz5iJEFFjVfe2vHa91sWy62WgZAySFUkq4wSu6WQE3kUkqpoF6xD9s0CfPQSw/s320/RubiconM5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Second, an M5 tank by Rubicon Models. Easy to build, great fit, what's not to like?<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
(and yes that is a Bad Squiddo Gun Peeg in the background)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiexMPplBpttJOCQ2UqK_2ibRcwFpTdl63YlgZBUCh6wEZOWzR8LvkJb1gSC3XzRdjfc9yI8tTTbzZW_5b7pmjYsv8H1m52dSo5W-RsLLIZjxUMD0xXrkCneuMVt6uTfp8PXk9_jlTUeEg/s1600/RubiconM8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="224" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiexMPplBpttJOCQ2UqK_2ibRcwFpTdl63YlgZBUCh6wEZOWzR8LvkJb1gSC3XzRdjfc9yI8tTTbzZW_5b7pmjYsv8H1m52dSo5W-RsLLIZjxUMD0xXrkCneuMVt6uTfp8PXk9_jlTUeEg/s320/RubiconM8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Rubicon M8, also a great model both to build and paint.<br />
<br />
<br />
I was given an M20 by a fellow blogger last year, that is still being buillt, as well as a Buffalo amphibious vehicle so there is indeed more to come.Thomas Nissvikhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11635793244352536541noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1932881472640239585.post-34369087614905933612016-12-28T22:14:00.002+01:002016-12-28T22:14:41.222+01:00Last batch of the yearFor various real-life reasons I was not able to complete my 2017 project of painting the entire <a href="https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-imperial-assault/products/star-wars-imperial-assault-core-set/" target="_blank">Imperial Assault</a> box, the e-web engineers and two heroes are missing but the finished figures had to be reported to Rob for the <a href="http://www.vislardica.com/introduction-details/" target="_blank">Painting Challenge</a> before the end of the year.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguomTOP446n3SxzXlgBVBPUg5DrGMcUM9dBBCTa6QWVB2cBHnN0hGFEA79yML0vmnRwxTVydTwpx6SHiTXgqPUSLEz8wnGWtBnWeDBKpNIsNXWBCPbHnd9QLzkhe5xC3EYl51DrrE_Xvc/s1600/Imperial+Assault+Base+Box.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguomTOP446n3SxzXlgBVBPUg5DrGMcUM9dBBCTa6QWVB2cBHnN0hGFEA79yML0vmnRwxTVydTwpx6SHiTXgqPUSLEz8wnGWtBnWeDBKpNIsNXWBCPbHnd9QLzkhe5xC3EYl51DrrE_Xvc/s320/Imperial+Assault+Base+Box.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also have a bunch of zombies from the Mantic KS The Walking Dead primed and ready, but only four finished. Many more to come, these are lovely minis!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwSWXlN_jO2BLE8pVhK-JSYkX4hiNQqq2iRQOPmqh9x3pTeLeRaDQQ94IEFVHP3kfaTQyunu9EH5a2MIRmOwb0suIUggfdR_wEV8YZXo-vFoMty_Kp3FKhEUntgi5GoGbwxMpmDpkbwpQ/s1600/TWD+Zombies1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwSWXlN_jO2BLE8pVhK-JSYkX4hiNQqq2iRQOPmqh9x3pTeLeRaDQQ94IEFVHP3kfaTQyunu9EH5a2MIRmOwb0suIUggfdR_wEV8YZXo-vFoMty_Kp3FKhEUntgi5GoGbwxMpmDpkbwpQ/s320/TWD+Zombies1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

It's been a long time. I have not been completely idle, there is some more stuff to come before the end of the year, but there has been a distinct lack of painted updates here. That ends now.<br />
<br />
First , winter may be coming outside, but on the club table it is leaving. Next time we enter into the City, my warband will be joined by a new Construct, the Book Golem from Black Cat Bases.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicHi1JCqpNfBtRpQGqaufk5Ur965lOeXsm2dtKbq6C5aXCiYTry4l7g9S0KJUXYKZgls_UZxjnjqbYNULudEEVaxtzrRKMDvE6y4GbX5k4W6o5mYYP_ByxTOMT2gPo2Ruuf5rWhpP4ugw/s1600/Book+Golem+Construct.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicHi1JCqpNfBtRpQGqaufk5Ur965lOeXsm2dtKbq6C5aXCiYTry4l7g9S0KJUXYKZgls_UZxjnjqbYNULudEEVaxtzrRKMDvE6y4GbX5k4W6o5mYYP_ByxTOMT2gPo2Ruuf5rWhpP4ugw/s320/Book+Golem+Construct.jpg" width="237" /></a></div>
<br />
The second thing I have today is an LMG team for French Indo-China. These are the old Red Star Miniatures, now owned by FNG Miniatures. In Europe, you can find them via Empress Miniatures.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

For this, you are supposed to find a gift for someone based on the stuff on their blog, thereby assuring that the gift is of use to the recipient.<br />
<br />
As I have been very bad at keeping my blog updated lately, I'll just throw out a bunch of ideas for Santa to browse.<br />

I love zombies of all sorts and in all periods. Zombicide, Studio Miniatures, Mantic, Eureka, Wargames Factory, Hasslefree.<br />
<br />
French Indo-China war in 28mm:<br />
My passion above even zombies is the 1946-54 French Indo-China war. FNG Miniatures (via Empress in Europe) have dedicated figures for it. Warlord and Rubicon have suitable vehicles (most was US Surplus). Sarissa have buildings. Barrage Miniatures have boats.<br />
<br />
ACW in 28mm...and 6mm.<br />
Perry, Dixon and many more do 28mm figures. Baccus and Rapier do 6mm.<br />
Leven, Total Battle Miniatures and Timecast do buildings.<br />
<br />
WW2 Desert War 28mm<br />
Perry and Offensive Miniatures have both minis and vehicles.<br />
<br />
Just a few ideas. I have not given up on any project that is featured on this blog, some have just been dormant for a while and can be revived...<br />
<br />

I picked the buildings up from the club last night, hoping to use them in a game at home this weekend. I just did a quick setup last night and added some furniture.<br />

First of all: <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621774283/battle-systemstm-urban-apocalypse-terrain" target="_blank">Battle Systems</a> estimated July 2016 when they started the project. Nine days into August 2016 and the stuff is in my hands. How may other Kickstarters can match that?<br />
<br />
Jocke and I punched out the pieces and tried to build as much as we could at the club last night. The stuff you see in the pics is made up of:<br />
The base pledge<br />
The Two-Storey Suburban House<br />
The Art Deco Grand Pack<br />
One extra game mat<br />
<br />
There are lots of extra bits, interior walls, furniture and stuff that is not in the pics, but this will at least give you an idea of what the stuff looks like. I am very, very happy with the quality of this product.<br />

Once again for his Field of Glory:Renaissance army and once again in black and yellow because his girlfriend is a <a href="http://aik.se/start/" target="_blank">footie </a>fanatic.<br />
Six stands of Heavy and two stands of Medium infantry. Hopefully they will cover themselves in glory at BritCon this weekend.<br />

Here is a different set of MDF markers, made by another Friend Of The Lard, <a href="http://www.supremelittleness.co.uk/" target="_blank">Supreme Littleness Design</a>.<br />
These are Patrol Markers for Chain of Command. Since the Patrol Phase seems to be unique to CoC it is something that draws attention when running convention games so we thought it would be good to have really nice markers for it. SLD had stars and three-field ones and when <a href="http://dalemunk.blogspot.se/" target="_blank">Koen </a>and I asked, Michael was nice enough to create the Foreign Legion ones for us. They are now in their <a href="http://www.supremelittleness.co.uk/sld-gaming-aids/insignia-markers.htm" target="_blank">web shop</a>, along with a number of other markers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfix3mw5YKw_NBzY33mpeA_BaQ5eXZPYF2k3CcLQbR8DakLIxrx44rq-j4ZhBiD_BYVqUEU_TXZnS11HQ7dHiS-pRKYSNDETR8AwJImqbERUFHYgzV14pphlu61JJ_qtUhreLHYfHkTc/s1600/SM+Patrol+Markers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="194" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfix3mw5YKw_NBzY33mpeA_BaQ5eXZPYF2k3CcLQbR8DakLIxrx44rq-j4ZhBiD_BYVqUEU_TXZnS11HQ7dHiS-pRKYSNDETR8AwJImqbERUFHYgzV14pphlu61JJ_qtUhreLHYfHkTc/s320/SM+Patrol+Markers.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The SP markers I did using coloured pen. These I did using a brush. To my surprise it was actually easier to get the detail right with a brush than with a pen. The relief cuts in the MDF are deep enough to make each field a distinct area, making it more like miniature painting than colouring book painting.<br />
<br />
I like both sets of markers and whether you go with Warbases or Supreme Littleness, I promise you will not be disappointed.<br />
