The first tank in my Girls und Panzer project is finished. Please welcome the first-year students of Rabbit Team. The tank is s Hasegawa Lee/Grant, the decals are from Company B. Panzer Vor!
Wow, Thomas. Just ... wow. Girls und Panzer is obviously a hole in my education. I did play a PS3 game briefly called Valkyria Chronicles which had an anime with WW2 tanks vibe. I don't recall any pink Grants in that game, however. :)
Nope, Edelweiss was not pink (yes, I love Valkyria Chronicles too), and it was really only one tank. Here the story revolves around a whole team. You really should watch the whole season of GuP, the storyline is fantastic. Morality, the importance of friendship, forgiveness. You could build a bunch of sermons around the show, as long as you don't tell anyone you got the ideas from a cartoon about schoolgirls and tanks. ;-)
Well, Turtle Team is on the paint table. Anglerfish Team is built and sitting on the shelf waiting for paint. I have decals for both Gloriana and Kuromorimine, I just need some tanks for them and I think I have found a perfect source. FlemCon, if all goes well.
