Soviet LMG Team

Two guys from Italeri Winter set. A combination inspired by all those sets of German gunners firing an MG34/42 over the shoulder of the assistant. As can be seen in the PSR review, this is not the intended set-up, and it looks kind of weird in the pictures below, but it works fine on the table-top.
The score is now +20. This will become important very soon as I ordered a bunch of Russians from
 Sgts Mess last week.

[Insert "prone" joke here]

Two new Finns. On the left, Fantassin/Warmodelling, on the right Eureka. These are not meant to be snipers, just men firing from a prone position, hence the Eureka guy wearing a civilian scarf.
I do believe this puts the score at +18, I might have to take a look at those IT Miniatures WW1/Revolutionary Russians. This, by the way, is where I'm going with all this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M8_hS0gqU8
From the excellent movie Talvisota (Winter War), note the mix of Soviet uniforms in the charge.

Two more Soviets

Long time, no update, but I finally finished two Soviets, one from Revell Siberian Riflemen and one from Italeri Winter Russians.

These lads will be in the solo campaign that I will run using Joe Legans Platoon Forward system. Any day now. I promise. Real soon. Just as soon as I get myself organised.
Platoon Forward is an excellent campaign system and can be found here:
