As promised last time, more titans from Adeptus Titanicus. I have built the first of the two titans in the core box and sprayed it with AP Gun Metal as I want the mechanical parts and everything I can't reach with a brush to at least look metallic. Next up is washing and painting the body before I start adding the various shields that cover most of the body of the finished titan. I also need to think about the base. The titan is just blu-tacked on right now and I want a basing that conveys the weight of this monster. Maybe a layer of clay, press the feet down into that, let it dry then flock and decorate?
Note that the entire project has been doen using Tamiya liquid cement meaning there was no filler or greenstuff used at all. GW has come a long way since the old "fill the gap with greenstuff until you can get the super glue to catch"-days.
Next to the titan is the first Knight. Also lots of fun to build and I really llok forward to painting three of them as a unit. The AT box was the most expensive hobby item I have bought in my life but I feel that I am getting value for my money.

They will walk!
Can you guess what will be coming next?
A hint:
Yes, I bought the bix, expensive box. No, I did not need it. Yes, I have a ton of other minis.

Back among the living (dead)
It turns out my last post was made in January and it is now August. Well, I do have an excuse. My intestines started acting up again (Crohn's disease for those of you keeping score) and I basically lost the ability to eat solids. Loss of weight, energy and motivation followed by major surgery and recovery that is still ongoing.
All this time was not wasted, however. I have been doing some painting that will be revealed later. I have also been doing a bit of gaming. The new hotness at the Club is What A Tanker from TooFatLardies. Best fun we've had in ages, it's even kicked Zombicide off the top position.
Based on the one game we've had so far, Zombicide will be reclaiming it's position during the winter. Green Horde really is a whole different game using the old familiar mechanics.
All was not bad. Recovery from the surgery started during the most lovely spring I have ever seen and orders from the doctor were "Eat as much as you can and move as much as you're able"
So I did.
After my second game of WaT I knew this was the game I had been waiting for, the one that would allow me to play Girls Und Panzer on the table top. Of course I needed tanks that look the part...
And finally, two clips of local wild life, captured during long walks on warm summer nights.

Rebel Command
Rebell command and some more infantry. These brinng me past the halfway point of the box. I intend to assemble the lot before spraypriming, assuming the weather permits. Swedish winter is unforgiving.

Test
Trying out blogging by app.
Edit:Yep, it worked. I can take a picure with my phone and put it straight onto the blog without fiddling around on the computer. Does not look as nice but I can get it up there right away instead of "later" which never happens, as seen by my posting history. I have in fact painted minis between June and now, I have just not gotten down to taking pics, editing pics, writing blog post and so on. Hopefully, this will not be repeated in 2018.

The Adventures of the Dice Bag Lady in the land of the Vikings – part III
So, how badly did I fall behind in my blogging last year? This badly:
Part 3 in the story of Annie the Dicebag Lady in the land of the Random Internet Vikings.
After a night on an island and a game at the club, Annie was handed over to me for coffee and hammocking. We took the train to Nynäshamn and the first thing Annie noticed was the fact that there are rude words on the kitchen curtains. That set the tone of the visit.
I had promised Annie coffee over an open fire out in the archipelago. Sadly, four weeks of no rain meant that the woods were so dry it would actually be illegal, not just irresponsible, to start a fire so we had to make do with a camping kitchen. The coffee was at least boiled in a proper pot and served in a wooden kåsa.
That night, we went out into the woods and set up camp with hammocks and tarps.
Yes, it looks like the pot is hanging over the fire but I promise, we did not break the law.
The view from the fire place towards the hammocks. Mine in the foreground.
While we were camping my better half, who had a cold and could not come, had been asked to keep Baggy away from the dolls as I thought nothing good could come of them getting together. I was right as these pictures of Having Tea And Plotting World Domination will clearly show.

Annie enjoying her first hammock night. As I understand it, there will be plenty more if she has her way. Do they even have trees in Wales?
